Versioning Note: To distinguish between different iterations of our datasets, we employ a versioning system analogous to semantic versioning. Our version numbers have the following format: MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. Our first release of a dataset will therefore be marked v1.0.0. Given the version MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, we increment as follows: MAJOR version when we add new variables or change the structure of a dataset (e.g. when we add new (meta)data that was not available previously, such as section titles or temporary standing orders) MINOR version when we extend a dataset to cover a larger time period or for major bug fixes (e.g. when we add one (or several) recently released consolidated versions of standing orders to a dataset) PATCH version when we fix small bugs and/or typos (e.g. when we correct minor mistakes in dates, spelling, or numbering).
