Data license

The ParlRulesData.org project makes available historical, machine-readable texts of parliamentary rules ("standing orders", or "rules of procedure") for the purposes of scientific research.

The ParlRulesData.org datasets as well as codebooks and other data generation protocols are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Any re-use of our materials must abide by all of the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

In particular, when using our datasets, codebooks, data generation code and protocols and any other materials, you must give appropriate credit by including our preferred bibliographic citation in any non-electronic and electronic publication. The preferred bibliographic citation is specified in the README file available for each version of the dataset in the Download centre part of the ParlRulesData.org website. N.B.: Users must cite both (i) the publication releasing the data and (ii) the dataset version including its DOI (where available).
